The most important thing I think I have learned from my mom about raising kids is to have a sense of humor. I should probably mention that when I was a kid my mom's job was a professional clown. Yes, that's right a clown. She even drove a bright yellow station wagon with a clown nose on the front of it. We were always goofing around and doing fun activities. She was always the most creative mom I knew and the most popular mom among my school friends -- something I aspire to be someday. My mom struck a balance that I know many people find difficult and in retrospect I admire her so much for it. She taught me not to take life so seriously and to enjoy each moment. Something I am always still striving to do.
