So as you know, we just bought a new house, so I am of course in the decorating spirit.

Macy's has some great markdowns for Mother's Day including Bedding Sets (and they have lots on clearance too). Today we scored a $300 bedding set for only $99.99! And the other one we were considering was marked down to only $69.99. Some were even as low as $49.99. And they are beautiful.

Borders Sale!

So unfortunately many Borders stores are closing, but this means great deals for you! Everything in the store is anywhere from 25% - 50% off. Most books are 25%-30% off, gift items, cards, and magazines are 50% off, Blu-Rays were 30% off, etc.

BUT! As a word of caution, check Amazon before you snag any items at the closing. Some discounts are great, but other items are cheaper online even with the discounts.

Frederick's of Hollywood Sale

I was at Pentagon City today and Frederick's of Hollywood had tons of clearance items and the clearance section was an additional 75% off! I managed to find 4 great bras and paid only $15.75. If you have one nearby I definitely suggest checking it out. Some of the clearance items were marked down to as little as $0.99 after all the discounts.

Target Halloween Clearance Finds

Halloween is one of my hubby's favorite holidays and I felt really bad because this year he had to work and I had to study so we didn't get to do much of anything. So I thought I would surprise him with some belated Halloween themed goodies from Target. I had no idea what great deals I was about to score!

If you haven't popped into Target yet to check out their Halloween clearance aisle, you really should! Also, at our Target most of the stuff was marked down to 90% off (even though the signs only said 50-75% off) -- a pleasant surprise at the price checker!
